We live in a world where we no nothing nothing about.

The world is a vast space for us to discover and grow.

Travelling changes perspective.

The first time I traveled I was terrified because of the notion that "Haan ak makagawid kenda apong kun. hahaha" (I would get lost or something would go wrong and cannot go back to my parents) but after year and years of self debate, I finally gathered my courage nga naka dulin jay baul ni lolak jay closet na (that is hidden in the deepest darkest parts of my grandmother's trunk inside her closet), to jump on top of the cliff and take the plunge.

I tell you kabsat it was terrifying like the feeling you get when a dog is chasing you and you have to run with all your might or else malas mo maabutan daka jay aso ket makagat ka (in your misfortune, the dog will catch up to you and bite).

Ngem you know ngay kabsat, it taught me life lessons that years and years and years of unending mussing inside my bubble wrap haven't. For one, it taught me to re-evaluate my beliefs, that the rainbows and unicorns that I know of, is actually those terrifying dolls we see on a horror movie.

It opened my eyes to the harsh realities of life, to be more thankful. To always chose my battles, that we do not have to make a big deal out of everything. To only pick what matters. It made me more laid back as a person, wherein before I was a stuck up, insensitive-sensitive ( I know it does not make sense) person. I became different. It made me more compassionate and understanding of everything around me. It made me more patient, more confident and self-empowered.

It help me find and gain life-long friends. To be more careful who to trust and to always trust my instincts. To let go of what's not important, besides it'll hurt us more if we keep on holding on to something that we should have let go.

Most importantly I became a new person every time I sit on the coach back home while eating my momma's home made dinnner.

Cheers Kabsat! and may you find the courage to do whatever you want to do.
